This policy explains what personal information Albion AppWorks collects when you use albionappworks.co.uk and our apps, and what we do with it. Albion AppWorks (a trading name of FMDigital) is the data controller. Our apps
The apps run on your own computer, phone or tablet. The files, figures and settings you use in them stay on your device and are never sent to us. Licence keys are checked on your device too, so the apps don’t report back to us when you use them.
What we collect when you buy
- Your name, email address and billing address
- What you bought, the price and your licence keys
- Your account details, if you create an account
Card payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
Why we use it
- To take payment, send your licence key and give you access to My licences (to perform our contract with you)
- To answer your emails (our legitimate interest in helping you)
- To keep order records for tax and accounting (a legal obligation)
- To send our newsletter, only if you sign up for it (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link)
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the shop for us: our web host (Hostinger), our payment provider, our email delivery service and Google, which provides the adverts on our website pages. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years, as HMRC requires. Account details are kept until you ask us to close your account.
Cookies
The shop uses essential cookies to keep your basket and sign-in working. Our website pages also show adverts from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure how ads perform. You can choose not to see personalised ads in Google’s Ad Settings, and read how Google uses information at policies.google.com. The apps themselves show no adverts.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@craftydrifters.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
